Our beautiful café, nestled in the heart of Minden, Ontario, is a gathering space for families and community.
It is an intentionally curated environment inspired by what makes Haliburton County distinctive, with an emphasis on local partnerships, community support, and regional vendors.
Designed to feel like a home away from home, the space offers a gourmet coffee line, refreshing cold beverages, and wholesome snack and lunch options; made for both children and adults to enjoy.
At its core, Little Beans is a play café. A place where children engage in open-ended play while adults connect and unwind. Beyond everyday play, the space is intentionally versatile and regularly hosts events, social gatherings, programs, and classes that support connection.

Open Play Admission
Half-day Pass | $7.00 / child
All day Pass | $10.00 / child (come-and-go privliges)
Play time begins upon arrival, and admission provides access to the play space during regular hours.
One accompanying adult is included with each child’s admission. Additional adults are welcome and may either purchase from the café or by donation.
Events and Celebrations
We offer private events, birthday celebrations for all ages, and group bookings.
Pricing varies depending on the event type and selected enhancements.
Children’s birthday parties begin at a base rate of $165 for two and a half hours. Larger-scale events or those requiring additional services are quoted individually. Please contact us to discuss availability and options.
Monthly Memberships
Designed for families who visit regularly and want the flexibility to play without counting visits. Our Monthly Family Play Membership provides unlimited All-Day play during regular business hours, offering the freedom to come and go while enjoying consistent access to our space.
Memberships are valid for one household, are non-transferable, non-refundable, and renew monthly unless cancelled in accordance with our cancellation policy. Admission remains subject to capacity limits and all posted safety and supervision policies.

How It Works
Little Beans Play Café offers flexible ways to enjoy the space.
Drop in for open play during regular hours, purchase a multi-visit pass, or join us for scheduled events, programs, and celebrations.
Admission and Timing
Play sessions are offered in half-day and full-day admission. Time begins upon arrival. Exit and re-entry privileges are available for All-Day Admission Passes
Payment can be made online, or in person upon arrival. While drop-in play is welcome, advance online booking is recommended during the summer months.
Children six months of age and under are admitted at no charge and may be accompanied by one adult. A voluntary donation or beverage purchase is appreciated.
Capacity and Booking
To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience, the café operates with a maximum capacity of 30 guests at a time.
Cancellations or rescheduling can be managed easily through your booking profile at no charge.
Who the Space Is Best Suited For
The space offers a wide range of open-ended play experiences suitable for children from infancy through approximately 12 years.
Stroller, Parking and Accessibility
Stroller space inside the café is limited, so we recommend parking strollers outside or in your vehicle when possible.
The space is thoughtfully maintained to be accessible and easy to move through, for families.
Food, Drinks and Allergies
Little Beans is an allergen-aware environment intended to support the safety and inclusion of all guests. While reasonable precautions are taken, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free space.
We also offer a thoughtfully curated selection of vegan and gluten-free options.
Guests with an anaphylactic allergy are asked to contact us in advance of their booking by text at 289-943-1261 so we can discuss appropriate accommodations.
Outside food and beverages (aside from formula) are not permitted during open play. A curated selection of gourmet coffee, cold beverages, and wholesome snack and lunch options are available for purchase on-site.
